4xy effect overrides arpeggio macro
« on: April 01, 2014, 12:09:55 pm »
When I use the 4xy command with an instrument that uses an arpeggio macro, the effect overrides the arpeggio macro. The bug does not seem to affect any noise channels that may be present, however. I have attached a sample module demonstrating the bug.

EDIT: Turns out it's not just SMS that's affected by this glitch.

So it's NOT just the NES portion!

I have made a thread relating to this, but since I am not the only one here having this sort of issue, I will lock my thread.

So yeah, here's my attachment for continuity. Also, my reason for using arps was for transposition, albeit really REALLY lazy transposition.

The skinny, I found this bug by sheer luck.

Will be fixed on next update. Looping arpeggios and vibratos are not compatible, however, it should work for finite arpeggios.
