Massive desync bug in PCEngine
« on: August 12, 2012, 08:25:39 AM »
Okay, so I was playing a random really short song with a derogatory file name(might be related to it, never know) in PCEngine mode and I go to look at the tracker screen and it's desynced by 4 frames and 6 lines after 3 minutes.

I'm using the 1024 buffer size.

Maybe it is related to a "goto" command like Bxx or Dxx. If you have the DMF I could find the bug and solve it for the 8th version.

Massive desync bug in PCEngine

It was related to an odd count of rows, due to a synchronization issue, the latest odd row was forced to become zero and then the tracker will not be in synch with the track, because the system internally will playback with a different row count. It is fixed now, many thanks.

Oh, didn't notice it was uneven...

so that's why it didn't sound like it did when I started hitting my head on my keyboard and came up with it
