PC-9801,Japanize Retro Computer System. From YM2608(OPNA).
Quote
From:Wikipedia
FM Sound Source, a six-channel FM synthesis sound system, based on the YM2203
SSG Sound Source, a complete internal implementation of the Yamaha YM2149/SSG, a variant of the popular AY-3-8910/PSG for producing three channels of square wave synthesis.
ADPCM Sound Source, a single channel for samples in 8-bit ADPCM format at a sampling rate between 2-16kHz
Rhythm Sound Source, a six-channel ADPCM system, enabling playback of six percussion "rhythm tones" from a built-in ROM

ADPCM Not Use Now From 86Board. but Use From PPZ8 Plugin.(OPNA+ADPCM 8ch)

Now Compare PC-9801(OPNA)'s Driver Difference.

FMP+PPZ8+PDZF(or Z8X)
OPNA Board Free.(Use SSG Part.)
Z8X Plugin Use From Ext.CH3 Mode.  Then PDZF Plugin Use SSG And Rhythm Part+PDZF Only Pitchbend And LFO Effect.
(In The Short PPZ8,PSG Part Can Not Use Instead,8ch ADPCM Use Genesis. And PDZF, (Maximum)18ch ADPCM Use Genesis.)

PMD
No Plugin.(PPZ8 Plugin Bundling.)
OPN Mode.(FM3ch+SSG3ch.)
Creative LFO Effect.
SSG Part Use From PPZ8 Plugin Use.
SSG CH3 Use Rhythm Part.
(OPNA Chip Use Full Power.)

FMP&PMD Common To Both.(To MML Only.)
Easy Make Softwave Envelope To SSG Part.(Vanila FMP&PMD(Can Also Sample.))

This thread has gone stale vote-wise. If one wants to re-use this post for voting, one is going to have to get rid of (or gray out/lock in for historical purposes) the choices for the "machines that are already in Deflemask" on the poll to continue voting on "what next" machine-wise. I think that would cut down on multiple threads and show progress for this little yet mighty thread.
...Since Ripping Thread. Thx For Demick12.

...But FMP&PMD MML Compiler & PCM System is Proprietary.
PMD Player To Open Source...But SSG-EG Emulating Not Complete &  License Unknown.
Rhythm Data Too Easy ...But Capture of MAME Source.
Because, Request Now. ...And FMP&PMD Hacking & ROM-Builder Created Now.

P.S.
...And Create Original PC-98 Sound Driver & MML Compiler.
PC-98 MML Retro User Attracting Deflemask.

AY-3-8910 (Used in the MSX)
And in the Sinclair ZX-Spectrum, the Atari ST and the Amstrad CPC :)

About the AY-3-8910, there's something I'm not sure about regarding the format in which you'd export it. Since it was a chip used in multiple systems, I would personally like to see an .AY export feature (which I believe is the common format for ZXS and CPC music/sound), but then again, I don't know what format is associated to the other systems the chip was in.

AY-3-8910 Only This System Support,I am glad with only that.

i’m also interested on ym2203 support, specially seeing how brilliant were the chiptunes composed for arcade machines using that chip
and would be great if DefleMask could import .vgm files as well (or allow importing via scripting, like from python, lua, etc.)

I'd like to see 2203/2608 support, though I dunno how exporting would work. I'm guessing it would create an MML/PMD file, since VGM is kinda pointless for the PC98.

Also, off topic but:

and would be great if DefleMask could import .vgm files as well (or allow importing via scripting, like from python, lua, etc.)

VGM importing would be a pain to implement. VGM is a raw dump of commands to the sound processor, so turning that back into notes would be painstaking.
