Understanding Sega Genesis Cxx Effect: Retriggers
« on: May 26, 2017, 02:27:51 am »
Hello,

Firstly I love this tracker and I'm having a blast learning it! But I'm having some trouble understanding the Cxx Retrigger effect for Sega Genesis. I'm trying to retrigger a note and I'm not hearing anything. I've set it to various different values like 0C01, 0C03, 0C10 and haven't figured it out yet. Was wondering if someone could help me understand or provide an example, I couldn't find any through the search and demo songs.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It is used to make a ultra fast drill effects, you will need an instrument with a fast attack and fast decay to hear the repeated notes. It is really useful on FM drums.
