Could I include this as a new demo song?

Of course! I would be glad to see it being used in the demos! <3
So, this song was the result of me messing around with and finding a use for the channel 3 extended mode of the YM2612. I've previously used the mode for a synth bass and sine wave chord in my song Moonlight Mountains (using Algorithm 7). I ended up creating a 2-operator instrument that I really liked. Additionally, I came up with a 2-operator bass that I think is decent (it kind of reminds me of one of the instruments used in the Genesis version of Mickey Mania), and thus I created this song. Enjoy!

I did this pretty recently and have been meaning to upload it here.

I decided to port this song to the Master System. I took the same approach as my Master System ports of Moonlight Mountains and Ice Crystal Cavern.

My cover of 13th Struggle from Kingdom Hearts2, by Yoko Shimomura, on the YM2151/SegaPCM. First plays during the Axel boss fights in Twilight Town.
This is the proper KH2 version, not the Chain of Memories version that it seems most covers use, and so features an additional section that was added in that game compared to Chain of Memories arrangement which is in my opinion one of my favorite parts of the whole thing.
This song is sooooo chill! I love it!  :)

Really good use of waves, I must say. The semi-Japanese scaling of notes on the song make it sound almost care-free. LOVE the bass' wave!

Thanks! It's all in part to the fact that my big influence comes from the Japanese composers compared to the European composers (75% to 25% respectively)

WTF is with these spam bots?

They just seem to pop up every now and then.
In the Sega Genesis' instance, you HAVE to limit yourself in the DAW to understand how the chip will work. If the Genesis has 6 FM channels (or 5 FM and 1 DAC channel for samples) and 3 PSG + 1 Noise (also 2 PSG with the third channel driving the fourth noise channel to extend the range of said channel, not to mention a pulse mode derived from the noise sounding not unlike a clavinova), that is a total of up to nine notes polyphony.

The FM channels can share instruments if need be; the same as the PSG channels (3 normally, 2 if using the extended noise pitches). If using the DAC channel, that channel will be mono - the same with the noise channel.

Here's something fun: there is a way to make three note chords and even four note chords between channels to extend polyphony. You can do the aforementioned even inside Deflemask as well.
