Hey Bryce, you should add the Vic-1 chip (Commodore Vic-20 soundchip), I feel that the chip needs a functional tracker for Windows. (I've voted, but it's an awesome chip.)

I decided to create a FM Anvil for DefleMask. (Note: You have to use octaves 6-7 to create the desire effect.) Enjoy! ;D

I discovered Deflemask back in August 2016 when I was looking for a tracker that composes music for systems other than the NES. I was intrigued by the fact that the program can compose music for several consoles/handhelds. So, I gave it try. This particular song is one of my earlier Deflemask songs that has been sitting for quite some time now, so I decided to share it today. This song uses PAL speed (50Hz) and runs at 125BPM. Enjoy! (Fun fact: in Fury of the Furries, this song plays in the lagoon levels rather than the forest levels.)

General / POKEY + OPL3 support

Hello.

I think its time to support Atari 800 platform too. Atari 800 was and is popular in US/GERMANY/POLAND/SLOVAKIA/CZECH/CHILE...
Its cute platform based on 6502 similar to C64. There is POKEY soundchip sounding like Texas Instruments SN76489 PSG on steroids.
Standard for today is to have 2x POKEY for stereo music (left and right) - 4channels+4channels.
But there is SONICQUAD and SONICOCTA soundcard under development (4x POKEY - 16 channels 8x POKEY - 32channels)
And there is also new OPL3 cartridge http://atariage.com/forums/topic/267000-ymari-opl3-cartridge-by-tori-yogi/

Here is Polish website translated to English is little description of OPL3 YMari.

Atari 800 Wikipedia:

Atari Pokey:

OPL3:

And also there is standard for 8bit DAC COVOX for samples:

How POKEY sounds?

So all ATARI musicians please support POKEY + COVOX + OPL3 here!
And another 6502 fans too! And OPL3 synth fans too!

I tried the GBS with kode54's Game EMU Player for Foobar2000, and the first pulse channel and noise channel were silent. Maybe you haven't extracted Deflemask properly, so the GBS exporter seems to not function properly. Check this video to see how it goes with GEP: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7jvPu9tKB-VQnd1MGg1MzlFTEE

General / Re: The sample editor and pitch changes
« Last post by Delek on June 23, 2017, 09:33:28 PM »
The actual reason is that I have decided that a sample editor is outside of the scope of this tracker. At least for now.

But you have 2 ways to change the pitch, but of course both ways have its limitations and cannot be compared with a full sample editor:

1) Playback rate changes: this will set the sample rate of the file, you can choose from 8000hz, 11025hz... 32000hz. This is how fast the sample will be send into the soundchip.
2) Pitch slider: This will only speed up or down by multiples of 2.

If you need something more specific, I recommend you to resample your .wav inside Audacity or another audio editor tool.
