Ristar is awesome. 'Nuff said.

Your cover however, sounds a little too 8-bit.

Also, here's an incomplete cover of Chai Kingdom from Super Mario Land... on NES.

Chrono Trigger = Win.

That being said, that was a pretty good cover.

Bubble Man on my favorite sound chip! (PCE)
Would you believe me if I said that this doesn't use any sounds that the NES could make, other than the white noise, which, on PCE, is somewhat different anyway?

I assume that when you're saying "SUGAR RUSH!!!1!!!!1!!!!!1!11!, you mean the game "Sugar Rush" from the movie Wreck-It Ralph. When I say "game music", I mean music from actual games.

Here's the underground music from Super Mario Bros. 2, on Game Boy.

Littlelamp,

That Ristar cover was OUTSTANDING!!! I am very impressed!

PCE sound is all 8-bit anyway. That's like saying that my KIA 2013 looks too much like a car! :p  DevEd was indeed probably referring to the 25% PWM Square tones used throughout the song. But I heard a healthy mix of piano and jazzy harmonica sounds, and all kinds of good things waaaaay beyond NES capability throughout your cover. Great work dude! I don't see how you guys are able to find the time to make such detailed faithful covers in other soundchips.

Keep on chippin'! Delek needs more songs for the PCE. We all do. :-)

Sincerely,
marcb0t

Not video game music, but since this is a WIP and it's PCE, then I guess it's OK to post here :P

Bonus points if you can name the artist.

You might want to try this thread.

Also, since when did this thread become "Cover non-PC Engine music on PC Engine"?
