check it:  https://dl.dropbox.com/u/40851128/carousing%20comrade%20commie%20person.dmf

ive noticed some weird things about effects, like 2xx doesnt work if you use 3xx in the same channel.  also, check out pattern (hex)13 channel 4.  i use a triangle hiccup like sound effect twice, but the second time it dosent sound right even though it is notated exactly the same.  maybe im missing something, but i have messed with volume and effects.... ect and it didnt help.

i didnt dig into the manual about effects and specifics and stuff though so maybe you know something i dont.

First of all, I don't recommend to "loop" a wave that does not change, this will create a massive count of calls to the wave_changer for nothing.
I will add an avoider of this to DefleMask in the next version, so writes will be ignored automatically in the 8th version, but, however, it is useless to loop the same wave over and over again (for this reason your track has a huge delay before starting to play).

About the 2xx and 3xx in the same channel, why you want to create a portamento down and a portamento to note at the same time in the same channel?, those two effects are incompatibles with each other.

And about the effect of the triangle, I will search deeply what is actually happening, seems very strange.

Regards.

This is a rather nice song.

Seems that the portamento to note is trying to reach G#3 rather than E-4 in the second time, appears like it is a bug in the 03xx Effect. Thanks for the info.

EDIT: It is a bug with 03xx effects without a target note attached to it. You used the 03xx effect the second time in order to "change" the speed of the portamento to note, and that case was not coded in DefleMask, that change was interpreted as a invalid portamento to note and some strange things happened. It is fixed now.
